Nordic Affect marks the start of their winter concert series @ Mengi, Reykjavik.
The program circles in part around the end of a relationship, thanks to a premiere of Ingibjörg Ýr Skarphéðinsdóttir’s new commission based on poems by Gerður Kristný! Another world premiere is featured, thanks to a new work by the Swedish composer Magnus Bunnskog - “Ashes: dusk”. The eve's cherry on the top are fascinating works by Kristín Þóra Haraldsdóttir and Anna Þorvaldsdóttir. Anna’s work was part of Nordic Affect’s latest album, He(a)r, which was featured in a row of best-of-the-year listings.
